Ian McGibbon (Managing Director) – Ian has seventeen years of legal experience (starting in an international law firm, and subsequently with more than twelve years as in-house counsel at FTSE top 10 businesses). He believes that legal and international business experience and skills should be applied to deliver practical business advice and unlock business value.Ian has a strong background in M&A, life sciences, and commercial contracts, with very significant transaction experience, and deep knowledge of procurement and supply chain issues. He has extensive experience with change and stakeholder management, and with managing cross functional teams across geographies.

Recent News

Ian has recently worked on the procurement transformation of a Swiss-based multi-national, delivering a suite of new contract templates to the business, along with revised internal processes and policies to underpin the contracting process. Ian also helped the business implement the new model with key suppliers, including negotiating specific deals.

In the life sciences/heathcare sector, Ian worked earlier this year on a multi-national client's transformative €100m acqusition. The deal significantly expanded the business' operation in Northern Europe, adding revenue and scale to complement organic growth ambitions. Ian supported the business through the due diligence and purchase process, including negotiation of the sale & purchase agreement - and designing the initial integration plan.

Ian helped a Swiss-based start-up business finalise its privacy policy and website terms of use, in order to ensure GDPR compliance, and support the business' activities (including opt-in electronic marketing, cookie use and policy, and cross-border data transfers).
